Farm Produce
we mainly cultivate major plantation crops of the Konkan area such as the Coconut, Areca nut and Orchard crops such as Cashew, Mango, Sapota and intercrops like Banana, Pineapple and Papaya.

Farm Layout
We have planned our layout as per soil terrain and soil depth. Every plot and every tree is numbered and for identification of crops recently introduced, labeling and signages are provided.

Intercropping
Since horticulture plantations take time to become a part of commercial production, we at Shivalaya Farm indulge in intercrops. Inter cropping provides us with many advantages.

Land Utilization
We follow many measures that help us in optimizing land utilization. Based on our experience, these are some ways in which land utilization can be maximized

Special Plantation
We have planted Alphonso Mango at 5 X 5 m spacing. We carry out pruning and various cultural practices regularly to maintain yield and productivity of our orchard.

Water Management
Managing water without any wastage and utilizing every little drop is our main concern at Shivalaya Farm. Our main source of water is a Dam, located at a distance of 4 kms. from our farm.
